Abstract
A retrospective case series evaluated dupilumab as add-on therapy in 15 children with severe alopecia areata who relapsed after achieving SALT80 with Janus kinase inhibitors. At Week 12, the median improvement in SALT score from baseline was 59.0%. Among the 13 patients who completed 24 weeks of treatment, 84.6% achieved complete hair regrowth (SALT100). Dupilumab add-on therapy demonstrated efficacy and acceptable safety, suggesting it may be a promising option for pediatric alopecia areata patients who relapse during JAK inhibitor treatment.
